Summer Fishtrap

This is the 23rd year for this nationally-acclaimed conference for writers and readers. Summer Fishtrap will run from July 11 to July 18, 2010.

It consists of two parts, which people can register for separately or together. The Summer Fishtrap Workshops run from Sunday, July 11 to Friday, July 16.

The Summer Fishtrap Gathering runs from Thursday evening, July 15 to Sunday, July 18. (The two parts overlap.) The event takes place at the Wallowa Lake Camp and Retreat Center. There will be open mic (“open mike”) readings free and open to the public on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings, July 12, 13, and 14.

Faculty in 2010 include Gary Snyder, Jack Loeffler, John Daniel, Jane Vandenburgh, Holly Hughes, Karen Fisher, Charles Goodrich, Jack Shoemaker, Brian Doyle, Ehud Havazelet, Cosy Sheridan, Ursula Le Guin, Robert Michael Pyle, and Amy Minato.
