ODFW offers pheasant hunting workshops in Medford, Corvallis and La Grande

SALEM, Ore. – New and beginning hunters will get a chance to practice shotgun skills and, perhaps, bag a bird at three pheasant hunts for adults being sponsored by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife in September and October. Fall chinook fishing on Snake River begins Sept. 1

ODFW Fish Screening Task Force to meet in Burns

SALEM, Ore. – Oregon’s Fish Screening Task Force will meet Wednesday, Aug. 25 in Burns. The meeting will take place in the Steens Room of the Department of Human Services Building, 809 West Jackson Street. Alternative commercial fishing gears to be tested on lower Columbia River

SALEM, Ore. – Starting this week, fishery managers from Washington and Oregon will test the feasibility of five types of alternative commercial fishing gears on the lower Columbia River.
